Il semblerait que les mecs d'Iron Age remettent le couvert, accompagnés d'autres types d'Integrity ( période "The Blackest Curse"). Ambiance cheveux long et pantalons de cuir (synthétique) pour ce nouveau groupe, Gaven Rite. C'est très largement influencé par Iron Maiden, Saxon ou Manilla Road. " The Summoner's Pit Demo" c'est leur démo 5titres: 23minutes de heavy métal plannant de grande qualité sur K7 pro.

No Turning Back est surement le groupe de hardcore européen le plus connu à l'international. 15 ans d'existence, des tournées à répétition et des fans de plus en plus nombreux. "No Regrets" est le 7eme LP du groupe, dans la plus pure lignée de leurs précédent disques : du bon NYHC ala madball de la bonne époque. Ils étaient au Tsunami Fest 2012 aux côté de Sick Of It All, Biohazard, VOD, Madball et H20. 2 couleurs dispos !

Débuté en 1997 par des ados hollandais avec la rage au ventre et l'envie de faire du bon NYHC comme celui des 80's aux USA, No Turning Back s'est frayé un chemin dans la scène hardcore européenne pour en arriver au sommet. Ce LP retrace 10 ans de l'histoire du groupe à travers certains de leurs meilleurs morceaux . Pense à un mix entre Madball des débuts, No Warning, Guns Up, Breakdown.

Du NYHC brute et groovy comme il se doit, c'est le créneau de No Turning Back depuis maintenant 15 ans et "Revenge Is A Right" ne déroge pas à la règle. Pense à un mix entre Madball des débuts, No Warning, Guns Up, Breakdown. Un classique du hardcore hollandais de nouveaux dispo, remasterisé et avec un artwork revisité.

Minus – Demo 2009
2010 a été riche en (nouveaux) groupes de hardcore de qualité et Minus en est une preuve indéniable. C'est fait par des (ex) membres de Downpresser, Violation et Pressvre et ça envoi du lourd. Musicalement pense au groove de Stigmata qui rencontrerait la haine d'Integrity période "Those Who Fear Tomorrow" en écoutant Trapped Under Ice. Minus avait déjà fait un paquet de concerts , une tournée sur tout le territoire américain et un set au Sound And Fury. C'est monsieur Dwid Hellion (Integrity) qui s'est chargé de l'artwork.

V.A - The Extermination: A Flatspot Hardcore Comp
C'est bel et bien Flatspot records qui a lancé ces petits groupes qui sont devenus grands : Trapped Under Ice, Backtrack et Minus, ce qui en fait forcément un label de qualité. The Extermination est une compilation qui regroupe 5 morceaux inédits de Backtrack, Soul Search, Suburban Scum, Turnstile et King Nine. Le groove et les breakdowns sont de sortie. "The Way It Is", "Free for All", ou " Where the Wild Things Are", maintenant il faut ajouter "The Extermination" à la liste.

Deal With It / New Morality – Split
Les anglais de Deal With It et les hollandais de New Morality ont fait équipe pour sortir 7". Ceci est le pressage américain. Les deux groupes ont été / sont des poids lourds du hardcore européen. D'un côté le son froid et heavy des rues anglaises balancé par Deal With It à la manière d'un Cro Mags période "Best Wishes" ou d'un Leeway. De l'autre du NYHC groovy comme un "DMS" de Madball en provenance des Pays Bas. New Mortality ont partagé la route avec The Mongoloids ou No Turning Back. L'artwork a été réalisé par Marco de The Icemen.

Pour ceux qui veulent un peu de fraicheur entre deux albums de Youth Of Today il y'a ce nouveau groupe lyonnais, et oui c'est français madame. Les jeunes bons hommes font du indie / punk influencé par Tigers Jaw, American Football, Latterman, Algernon Cadwallader et les disques des labels No Sleep recs / Run For Cover recs. Leur démo K7 était superbe, le LP est encore mieux ! 13 titres sur vinyle orange. Une ville. Une date. Check les avant qu'ils signent chez No Sleep recs.
